The second leg of the Superclásico Buenos Aires derby was suspended after Boca Juniors players were injured as their bus travelled to River Plate's Estadio.
The Copa Libertadores final between Argentinian arch-rivals River Plate and Boca Juniors was in doubt after supporters of River Plate attacked their opponent's. River Plate and Boca Juniors will square off in the decisive second leg of the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday. Met by a barrage of River Plate fans, the Boca Juniors bus was pelted with missiles and, crucially, tear gas. River Plate or Boca Juniors will have to wait to be crowned Copa Libertadores winners after Saturday's second leg was called off after Boca's bus was attacked.
